We currently have openings for Sun Microsystems ? Hardware / Software Field Technician in Atlanta, GA

These highly proficient Field Service Technicians will be responsible for providing system support working on SUN Microsystems hardware such as Enterprise Servers, SunFire Servers, Sun Sparcs, Ultra?s, and disk storage arrays. Service responsibility includes installation, diagnostics, hardware troubleshooting and repair with some system administration in a Solaris environment. Individuals may work independently or as a part of a team. The work environment could be onsite or a geographical territory. Reliable transportation is a must. Qualified candidates must have an Associates degree in a technical discipline or equivalent field service experience. Individuals with midrange, mainframe, and / or Unix experience are preferred. Prior experience with servicing Sun Microsystems Enterprise servers or Solaris administration is a definite plus. Candidates selected will have the opportunity to attend OEM training classes.
