Blue Sky Satellite, a Regional Service Provider for Dish Network, the fastest growing provider of satellite television products and entertainment, will be hiring throughout the months of July, August, and September in Des Moines, Fort Dodge, Ames, Boone, Nevada, Perry, Ankeny, Altoona, Carlisle, and all surrounding areas.  We are currently looking for individuals who are self-motivated and possess exceptional customer service skills for our installer position.

 

Ideal candidates will possess:

* Good communication and customer service skills

* The ability to work flexible hours

* Hands on mechanical aptitude

* Good driving record

* Ability to travel for short periods of time

*Sunday and/or weekend availability

 

Responsibilities would include but not be limited to the following:

 

*Install, test and repair satellite dish systems in commercial and residential settings while ensuring all work is done according to quality standards and the NEC Code.

*Visually inspect installation site to identify obstructions that could distort or block signals from satellite

*Instruct customers on proper use of equipment

*Report to dispatch according to company procedures

*Complete necessary paperwork for each work order and receiving proper signature for accurate billing

*Accurately account for valuable equipment and small parts on a daily and weekly basis

*Timely reporting to local warehouse, reporting ETA for every job, and efficient use of time each day to comply with work schedule and customer appointments

*Training for the installer position is provided.

 

**Part time and weekend opportunities are also available.
