Security Installation Technician

BCM Controls Corporation (a $12M, 60 employee specialty contractor) leads the building systems marketplace with flexible building automation systems based on understanding how a completed building will best serve its owners. Utilizing a team of highly skilled project managers, engineers and technicians, BCM consistently delivers optimal customer based integrated systems that control all aspects of building operations such as Security, Access Control, CCTV, HVAC and Lighting.  We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a licensed Security Installation Technician. In this position, you will be responsible for installing, programming and testing Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion and Intercom Systems. You will manage field subcontractors (when required), interact with general contractors, as well as handle site and customer issues. You will also track projects to meet/exceed esetablished budgets and schedules. At project completion, you will handle customer training of all installed systems.

The successful candidate will be a licensed journeyman electrician and have 2-5 years electrical wiring and pipe bending experience. In addition, you'll also have 2-5 years experience in systems startup, testing and training. Familiarity with the listed systems is preferred but not required. The ability to work in a team environment with excellent interpersonal skills is a must. The candidate must take pride in quality work and maintain high customer satisfaction. The candidate needs to be self-motivated and organized with the ability to multitask as situations demand.
