Description:

We are a leading ISO 17025 certified validation and instrumentation firm in the process of expanding its calibration services to Puerto Rico. We have are looking for a senior calibration technicial for a lab manager position.

Requirements:

As part of the Team, you will be responsible for servicing a wide array of instrumentation. This could take the form of validation, preventative maintenance, calibration, and/or repair. Our primary focus is always the customer, so our program is designed to save them time, money, and effort by reducing the mean time between failures and increasing their level of compliance and traceability.

These services can take place at customer locations or offsite at the company?s environmentally controlled calibration facility for any or all of the following disciplines:

Pipettes (of all makes and models)
Bottletop dispensers and other volumetric instruments
Balances
Timers/stopwatches
Mass standards
Temperature instruments
Humidity instruments
Pressure instruments
Oscilloscopes, multi-meters, current probes, power monitoring, power meters, frequency counters, electrostatic devices, RF electronics.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

- Military PMEL/TMDE/DOD training preferred.

- Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in test and measurement equipmentl calibration & repair.

- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

- Travels to customer sites to perform calibration.

- Assures compliance to ISO 17025 requirements.

- Ability to work independently.

- Strong computer & customer service skills required

- Capable of heavy lifting (50 to 80 pounds)
