Senior Technician

Job Summary:

Benson Systems Service Technician has the ability to plan and layout all types of? projects involving multiple system types. Must be able to train and direct 2 or more employees consisting of Apprentices and/or a Technician I and/or Technician II.

Duties and Responsibilities:

????????? Troubleshoot various problems with all systems and resolve in a timely manner.?

????????? Identify revenue producing opportunities

????????? Interface with clients regarding repair. Maintenance needs

????????? Self motivated and good customer service skills

????????? Maintains control of all assigned Company property and ensures that equipment is maintained in safe operating condition at all times.

????????? Ensures that every work detail is consistently completed with clean and quality workmanship.

????????? Manual labor; including pulling wire, lifting, climbing and clean up.

????????? Efficiently manages time to meet timelines and objectives

????????? Identifies revenue producing opportunities Exhibits appearance and conduct in accordance with established Company standards to present a professional image to the customer and the general public.

Job Qualifications:

????????? Current Alarm Agent License

????????? 3+ years industry experience

????????? Working knowledge in: security, fire alarm, access control, CCTV.

????????? Completion of at least 6 Benson or vendor training classes

????????? Ability to read and understand blueprints

????????? A valid drivers license and clean driving record

????????? The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

????????? Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and color vision, distant vision, and peripheral vision.Meet the tool requirements of Tool List D

Working Conditions:

Field conditions. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly exposed to risk of electrical shock. The employee frequently works in high precarious places. The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in outside weather conditions and is exposed to fumes, airborne particles and extreme temperatures.
