Job Description

Major Responsibilities:
The successful candidate must hold safety as a core value at work and off the job and support the "Zero and Beyond" philosophy. Will have a critical role as a key member of the Warrior Service Station crew which is an integral part of the Cat Shop maintenance team. The individual will look to improvement and cost savings ideas which will be communicated utilizing the six point suggestion program. Must work productively in a team environment and demonstrate strong communication skills. Safely operate and perform oil changes on light and heavy equipment. Must operate lubrication service truck for fueling and lubricating mobile equipment. Must safely use high pressure hoses to clean the undercarriage and bodies of light and heavy equipment and maintain cleanliness around the shop and work areas. Effectively perform job assignments with minimal supervision and/or assistance. Maintain accurate service records utilizing the computer and strong organizational skills. Must maintain an environmentally safe work area.

Minimum Requirements:
METALS training or completion of course within six months. Must be a self-motivated individual capable of working with minimal assistance and/or supervision. Must have lubrication characteristic knowledge and operating skills for all types of equipment in order to perform field oil changes. Must have an excellent safety and attendance record and no active counseling. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or greater and willing to work in hot and dirty environments.

Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated dexterity in using hand tools and ability to safely climb on and off ladders for the purpose of checking components and servicing equipment is a plus. Prior experience performing oil changes on pickups, light and heavy equipment is preferred. A current CDL license is a plus. Good computer skills including Word, Outlook and Excel are preferred
