Position Title: Service Mechanic

 

Business Unit:  Terex Utilities

 

Shift:   1st shift

 

Location:      Ontario, CA (Orange County)

 

Activity at Location: Terex Utilities, a truck equipment final stage manufacturer of digger derricks, aerial devices and associated equipment for the utility industry has immediate need for an In-Shop Service Mechanic in Ontario, CA. 

 

Reports to: Service Manager, Glen Marquez

 

Position Description:  The successful candidates need to be qualified to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair truck mounted aerial platforms, digger derricks and cranes.  Qualified applicants will be proficient in hydraulic system diagnostics and repair, electrical system diagnostics, and be able to read hydraulic and electrical schematics as well as use fluid and load testing tools.  Experience with utility-type equipment a plus.  Must have own tools.

 

Education and Experience Level:   High school (or GED); Vocational preferred; Minimum 5 Years of experience in required area

 

Skills:
  Good oral and written communication
  Ability to read and interpret blueprints and manuals
