Service Representative

Anacomp, Multi-Vendor Services is looking to add to a Service Representative, MVS for the Atlanta, GA area. Anacomp Multi-Vendor Services (MVS) is a leading global provider for maintenance services and supplies for COM systems, network equipment, mass storage devices and high-speed output devices. Anacomp MVS provides services in more than 70 countries and is in partnership with over 100 Original Equipment Manufacturers and Value Added Resellers.

The Service Representative is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing third party hardware equipment including, but not limited to Network, SAN, Optical, and WAN components as well as COM and laser print related hardware equipment. Must be able to analyze, identify and repair equipment by utilizing diagnostic equipment, tools and technical support resources. In addition this position may be responsible for performing preventive maintenance according to procedures and schedules. You will provide continual feedback to the customer and supervisor regarding problems, solutions, status and targeted resolutions. The Service Representative will also maintain a parts inventory, and at times be required to procure replacement material. May also be required to be able to install simple operating systems and software applications as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent with technical school experience in electronics and mechanics. 3-5 years of work experience in a field service capacity. Working knowledge of electronics and electronic test equipment is needed. Comptia A+ certification needed; additional Comptia certifications a plus. Must be computer literate and have a good working knowledge of MS Office programs.

Must be able to work on-call, and be flexible to work nights and weekends as needed in order to respond to customer service requirements. Must have own transportation with proof of insurance. Candidate must have strong written and verbal communication skills. You must be able to work independently as well as a member of a team. Strong organizational, analytical, interpersonal and problem solving skills are required.
