Job Description

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
*This position involves the fabrication of various plant equipment and components.
*Must have extensive background and abilities in metal working, cutting, welding, layout, metal forming, pipe layout, motor/pump laser alignments, machine tool set-up.
*Must be willing to contribute to continual improvement through participation in teamwork.
*Must be able to work independently in a team environment.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
*Completion of an approved apprenticeship or four years of field related experience. This can also be a combination of both education and field experience.
*Design, construct and maintain pipelines.
*Must be mechanically inclined.
*Must be able to pass established practical hands-on test. (Welding and Alignment Test)
*Effective written and verbal communication skills.
*Must be able to operate all mobile equipment.
*Must be familiar with all phases of mining and plant equipment.
*Must be skilled in the use of computers (Word, Excel, etc.)
*Must be able to read and understand technical manuals, journals and schematic drawings.
