180 Connect is seeking STRUCTURED WIRE INSTALLERS in the HOUSTON area!




ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



Install and service new residential home integration systems






Install and troubleshoot the following systems: network connection center, satellite distribution, audio and video, central vacuum and security alarm






Site pre-wiring, wire and cable preparation; identification, installation and verification of wiring and connectors; installation and mounting of controls, keypads, speakers, jacks, audio and video equipment, wall plates and telephone equipment






Perform work according to code requirements, builder specs, safety requirements and company quality standards






Work with foreman to ensure that deadlines are met






Participate in required training programs






Demonstrate commitment to company's Quality Assurance System






Must have excellent customer service skills and professional appearance






Must be available to be scheduled Monday - Saturday












REQUIREMENTS:



Prefer 6+ month experience






Ability to carry out instructions given in written, verbal or diagram form






Demonstrated ability to use trade tools and follow safety standards






Must be able to read work orders and road maps, and accurately perform simple mathematical calculations






Valid U.S. driver's license with a clean driving record






Willing to travel locally on a daily basis






Must be able to pass drug and background check






Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds, use standard tools, and perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions, i.e., climb ladders, work in trusses, etc.






Must be able to work throughout the year in various weather conditions






Must have color vision and the ability to decipher wire color codes






High school diploma or GED preferred
