TECHNICIAN -- Biomedical

Hill-Rom, an established leader in the marketing of medical equipment and services for the health care industry, has an opening for a branch Biomedical Technician in the Honolulu area.


JOB SUMMARY:
-- Performs major inspections, preventive maintenance and repairs on medical equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

-- Performs major inspections, preventive maintenance and repairs on medical equipment.
-- Performs skilled work of routine difficulty under supervision.

EDUCATION:
-- Associates Degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and exp. (Degree in Electronics or Biomedical Equipment Technology preferred.)

-- Experience in the medical field preferred. 

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
-- Must be familiar with use of voltmeters, frequency counters and oscilloscopes

-- Must be able to use hand tools appropriately and safely

-- Must be able to solder well

-- Must be able to properly lift and/or move up to 50lbs

-- Knowledge of internet, inventory and word processing software
