TRAINEE - FIELD SUPPORT TECHNICIAN

 

FUNCTIONS:

 

The position is a trainee position which will lead, when the individual is qualified, to a position as a Field Support Technician. The trainee will work along side of and assist a Field Support Technician. The individual will be taught how to repair, maintain, support, install, train operators of and maintain records for machines sold by MCM Environmental Technologies, Inc. Profile:

 Education ? Working towards or have EE or ME Associate degree; BS preferred; Equivalent in field experience will be considered. Willingness to be trained in field repairs of electromechanical and hydraulic systems using power tools such as hand drill, air powered hand tools, torque wrenches, etc.Ability to interface and communicate with customers as a representative of the CompanyFamiliarity with Word and ExcelWillingness to learn to program PLCs and use PLC ladder logic diagnostic tools and programming terminalsWilling to travelCapable of reading and understanding electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and control system diagrams and schematicsAbility to lift and manipulate moderately heavy items during mechanical assembly and installationAbility to handle multiple projects simultaneously Candidates seeking part time work of not less than 3 days per week may also apply.

Compensation:  $30,000 - $33,000 annually depending on qualifications
