Tankwasher - Reserve, LA

Position Description: The Tank Washer will be a member of a team that will be responsible for the cleaning of both the interior and exterior of tank trailers, as well as cleaning pump and hoses for the drivers.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Keep Tank Wash Manager, Operations and Customer Service departments informed of any issues which may delay a tank from getting cleaned by the needed time.
2. Originate tank wash documents (Cleaning Orders, Waste Storage Container Addition Logs, and Trailer Prep Sheets, etc.) as outlined in the Tank Cleaning Procedures manual.
3. Perform all cleaning related tasks (tank cleaning, hose cleaning, pump cleaning, etc.) as outlined in the Tank Cleaning Procedures manual.
4. Operate various power units (company tractors, yard tractors, forklifts, etc.) as outlined in the Safe Tank Cleaning Practices manual.
5. Inspect, repair, and test product hoses as outlined in the Tank Cleaning Procedures manual.
6. Perform light maintenance duties.
7. Manage personal safety and PPE use as outlined in the Safe Tank Cleaning Practices manual.
8. Prepare containers (trailers, ISO containers, IBCs, etc.) for critical loads.
9. Maintain quality control as outlined in the Tank Cleaning Procedures manual.
10. Manage waste as outlined in the Waste Management Procedures manual.
