TECHNICAL BID ESTIMATOR ? BID DIVISION

 

JOB SUMMARY:

 

The Technical Bid Estimator is responsible for reviewing specifications and plans and preparing an accurate bill of materials and materials cost estimate. The TBE is solely responsible for the integrity of the bill of materials, materials cost estimate, and preliminary labor cost including in-shop, field installation and field engineering, and travel cost estimates. This position works under the direction of the Bid Administrator, organizing the take-off and resulting estimates in a manner responsive to the bid forms and related documents.

 

Qualifications:

Prior experience with construction management and solid leadership abilities are required; high technical aptitude, keen analytical abilities, and a bachelor?s degree are also required; knowledge of installation procedures is preferred. The successful candidate will possess advanced PC, organization, inter-personal and communication skills.
