Temporary Facilities Coordinator

 We currently have a temporary opening for a Facilities Coordinator in our Jersey City office.

 

Job Description:Issue package/building passes for removal of items from premises; Issue, replace, and cancel access cards as per established procedure; Process request for furniture/office keys; Prioritize work requests and ensure proper follow-up with a reasonable turnaround time; Back-up all records management functions; Coordinate staff relocations/in-house moves with Telecom, Information Technology, and facility maintenance coordinator; Schedule and execute relocations including some heavy lifting; Work with Facilities Management to develop move procedures and disseminate to relocating employees prior to their move date; Obtain proper sign-off; Assist in special projects as assigned; Maintain relationship with day porter for occasional requests of clean-up needs.

RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED; At least 2 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified above; Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and boxes;Ability to take visitors on tour of the building in the absence of the manager; Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control; Organizing and coordinating skills; Skilled in the use of personal computers and related software applications (Word, Excel, Outlook); Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing; Positive attitude; Ability to juggle tasks and priorities; Clerical and basic office skills.
