Third Shift Maintenance Supervisor - Transportation industry
Industry leading transportation company has an immediate DIRECT HIRE opening for a Third Shift Maintenance Supervisor position. Position is located at the Newark, NJ Airport.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee and instruct maintenance technicians, approximately 20 employees, to perform troubleshooting and repairs on transportation vehicles
Ensure all work is done in accordance to company policies and within required timelines
Scheduling of employees
Communicate with employees any perfomance issues and determine best course of action
Conduct performance reviews
Work in a fast-paced, emergency-based environment
Be able to quickly reprioritize
Communicate with First Shift Supervisor the status of work at end of shift
Attend meetings with other supervisors to address any problems
REQUIRED SKILLS
A minimum of five years of supervisory experience
Strong Electromechanical testing and troubleshooting skills
Experience working in a fast-paced environment
Transportation maintenance background
AAS Degree
PREFERED SKILLS
Avionics troubleshooting and repair
Previous military experience
BS Degree
Excellent benefits package and growth opportunties
Hours are 11:00pm to 7:30am
