Turbine Specialists

NIC has current openings for turbine experts.  We will consider anyone with at least 5 years staff

experience with an end-user of turbine generator and associated equipment.  Should have a reputation for high quality and on-time completion of project budgets. 

 

Candidate will report to directly to VP of Contract Administration and will be directly responsible for all work performed at jobsites and any work related to respective projects.

 

Function is to:

-Satisfy customers through execution of outages in a cost-effective and timely manner

-Manage and direct employees at job site

-Participate as requested in Technical Sales visits

-Conduct Outage Planning visits and provide required deliverables

 

Will require extensive travel by car and by airplane trips.  Should be extremely professional in all facets.  Should be respectful and cooperative toward co-workers and customers; dedicated to providing a safe and positive work environment.  Will be responsible for expenditure of large sums of customer funds.

 

Work schedules can be highly undpredicable and candidates will have to be responsive to customer needs at all times including immediate responses.  This may even impact vacations from time to time. 

 

Those that fall short of the requirements could possibly be considered for a foreman type of position if they have a a strong background as a mechanic or millwright with heavy turbine experience.
