Position Summary
Mechanic: Duties are the refurbishment of vacuum pumps which may include tear down, prepping, and reassembly.
Essential Functions
* Assemble and test vacuum pumps according to PTB repair procedures.
* Work well with tear down, blast and prep, test, and paint departments.
* Become acquainted with our industry's electrical and mechanical parts such as electrical connectors, flanges, gauges, valves, and computer-electrical interface.
* Interface with production manager and technicians to work on custom configurations.
* Troubleshoot unique problems from various manufacturers.
* Maintain documentation of work.
* Perform other job related duties as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Skills Preferred
* Extensive mechanical experience.
* Some industrial electrical and electronic experience.
