WELDER-FITTER

Gardner Cryogenics, a division of Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., has an opening for a Welder-Fitter at our Liberal, Kansas facility.

** LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY, PLEASE - NO RELOCATION AUTHORIZED **

This position is for a welder-fitter with manufacturing and ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) code experience. The candidate should be familiar with pressure testing and Helium leak testing. Additional basic skills required to support the repair and rehab of ASME coded vessels including material handling, forklift operations, overhead crane and yard tractor operations.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. The candidate will have to pass appropriate welding and fitting tests to demonstrate level of proficiency. Minimum Basic weld test to include:

* Flux Core: both horizontal and vertical; and
* A 5G Tig with Stainless.

The welds will be evaluated based on X-ray results.
