Yard Associate - Construction Equipment Rental Industry

We are currently searching for Yard Associates?in our Loveland, CO location.

BASIC PURPOSE
The yard is often the customer's point of first contact with NationsRent.? The Yard Associate is responsible for maintaining a neat and orderly yard and shop area.? Assist customers with loading and unloading equipment and assessing the customer's ability to transport equipment, then orient them on the correct operation of the equipment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
?1. Maintain a neat and orderly appearance in the yard and shop.? Keep equipment in orderly condition.
?2.?Perform cleaning and housekeeping tasks inside the?shop, store?administrative areas.
?3. Prepare equipment for customer pickup and delivery.
?4. Inspect equipment for obvious damage and/or malfunction.
?5. Complete yard tickets for rentals and returns.
?6. Assess the customers ability to transport & operate the equipment (proper vehicle, permits, go over safety in operation of the equipment).
?7. Assist Inside Sales and Dispatch in equipment availability & shortage.
?8. Follow Standard Operating Procedures.
?9. Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION
High School Education or G.E.D.

EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS
Entry level.
Knowledge of rental equipment a plus.
Able to effectively communicate.
Lift up to 80 pounds, bend, stoop, squat, reach, crouch and kneel. Sit or stand for long periods of time.
Work in unprotected weather elements.
