ACCOUNT INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Setting up new groups/making changes to existing groups that are adding/changing carriers. Includes benefits, rates, commissions, enrollment, billing and posting of initial check. Transmission of new groups to on line carriers. Coordinates receipt of carrier group numbers. Sets up groups in the billing system. Reviews carrier benefit material for accuracy. Notify brokers of carrier and or Benefitmall group numbers via email or fax.

 

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 2 years related experience. Strong Data Entry skills. Must have excellent experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Power-Point, and Access) and the Internet.Proof Read, problem solve and research abilities. Ability to work overtime. Good Organizational skills

 

NECESSARY SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES:Communicate with all levels of internal and external personnel, both verbally and in writing. Develop and maintain good working relationships. Provide positive customer service. Analyze and resolve problems to assist agents/brokers in presenting the best solution to prospective clients. Determine when issues need to be escalated to a higher level. Work in and contribute to a positive team environment. Manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
