KEY OBJECTIVES
This individual will manages all aspects of Web systems (intranet and extranet) including working the project life cycle Analyzes, designs, and implements and maintenance changes and additions to existing systems. This individual will also be the project management to meet quality, schedule, milestone, and budget commitments. In addition, this individual will manage project expectations, scope, risk and changes; provide issue identifications and resolution; provide a work plan at the required level of detail which indicates the key dependencies, resources, the time-frame for completion of the project and the key deliverables within it.
This person will work with customers and technology vendors to maximize opportunities in company's Web-based presence. This position requires a bachelor's degree with at least 10 years of experience in the field. The person needs to be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, best practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, and performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Finally, this individual will be accountable for continual tracking and analysis of project performance against the project plan to ensure project success; ensuring that the goals and objectives of the project are understood and contractually agreed with the project sponsor; and for the continual assessment of resource displacement and reassignment based on work plan schedule(s).
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
? Accountable for design, upgrading, enhancement, maintenance, availability, and effectiveness of technical functionality and content for one or more web sites of an organization.
? Understanding of insurance.
? 10+ years experience with implementation of information technology integrations in medium/large company environments.
? Ability to effectively communicate value and benefits of technical strategies and solutions to both IT and non-technical management.
? Thorough understanding of future IT trends with an ability to identify issues and implications arising out of them.
? Degree in Information Technology / Computer Science or equivalent training / experience
MAJOR REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must have a minimum 10 years of programming experience in Advanced Visual Basic, ASP, SQL, and associated Microsoft development toolsets.
C#, C++, and .NET experience is must and have significant experience in deploying solutions in COM+, DCOM, MTS and IIS environments.
Advanced data analysis and design skills including implementing solutions using SQL Server based applications
Must have excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate with peers, management and business users
Must be organized, detail oriented and have a strong commitment towards the delivery of high quality products
Working knowledge of CMS and Sharepoint
Creating CMS Templates from scratch
Working with dynamic navigation
Authoring with CMS
Working with the publishing API
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
? Expert Level of .NET Framework, C# and ASP.NET a must
? 10+ Years Programming Internet Applications
? 5+ years ASP/VB/NET
? 5+ years SQL Server
? 3+ years XML/XSL
? 3+ years of UML/Visio and RUP Architecture
? Excellent UI design skills and strong knowledge of UI usability, workflow, navigation
? Solid background in business process evaluation and problem solving
? Good troubleshooting and debugging skills across layers of an application
? Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills
