POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The AVP, Marketing is responsible for development of Customer Acquisition strategies and the timely and cost effective execution thereon.
The ideal candidate is a high energy, performance-driven, self-starter with hands on experience directing customer acquisition programs using broadreach media, direct mail, e-commerce and event marketing programs.
The scope of the position requires experience with all aspects of campaign design, prospect segmentation, campaign testing, performance analysis and communication and the development of financial models arising from successful rollouts. Specific responsibilities will include:
Planning, creating, executing, tracking, analyzing and reporting of customer acquisition programs
Development and execution of test programs to ensure growth and success of programs
Leveraging segmentation strategies, customer touch points, specific events and database analytics to develop programs that optimize marketing yield
Tracking of financial drivers attributable to program performance against return on investment targets
Requirements:
EXPERIENCE:
7 - 10 years experience in a direct response insurance or other financial products with 2-3 years product P&L responsibility
Event marketing experience
Direct response customer acquisition experience which includes the following:
List selection and targeted segmentation
Advertising development for direct mail, inserts and e-commerce and other direct response channels
Hands-on experience in developing, executing, and managing test programs to ensure growth and success of programs
Analytical, communication, problem solving and decision making skills.
Bachelors Degree: Marketing or related field
Proficient in Microsoft Office
