Accident & Health Underwriter

Our client is an international property and casualty insurance company.  They sell specialty insurance products and programs to a variety of niche markets.  Their specialty product focus and niche market strategy enable them to develop expertise and specialized market knowledge.  Their accident and health program is a growing success and they are looking for individuals that can continue to evolve and develop their programs.  Our client seeks underwriters with 3+ years of underwriting experience in sports liability or A&H market.  They require someone with good analytical skills that has the ability to effectively manage a large book of business.  The successful candidate will have worked on health and accident plans that are child oriented.  Those businesses can include schools, amateur sports leagues, day cares, camps and tuition reimbursement for employers.  Individuals will also be considered with experience writing limited benefits plans; those that include a lower cost alternative than major medical plans.  Salary is competitive with bonus opportunities available.
