Account Manager

Established Insurance Brokerage in Fairfax City needs an experienced Benefits Account Manager ASAP.  This person will be responsible for consulting with existing group clients regarding renewal of their company benefits.  Acts on behalf of the Sales Executive to retain customers and ensure satisfaction each year.  Must be able to make recommendations on benefits and make sure the agent is notified of all client activity. 

 

This is a central position to all areas of the agency - working with sales, marketing, and service as well as having direct contact with our carrier representatives.  Must be a fast learner and able to work with clients at every level from blue-collar to company executives.

 

Requirements:

Minimum three years of experience in company benefits 

Current Life and Health License in VA, MD and/or DC

Excellent Communication Skills (particularly by phone)

Exceptional Organizational Skills

Ability to meet deadlines

Punctual and Reliable
