Account Manager (Use your clinical or managed care background!)

We are seeking a motivated, independent thinker with a solid customer service background to take on a highly visible leadership role within a Fortune 100 Company. The qualified applicant would oversee a state membership of 70,000 members, managing all accounts and liaising with state and internal departments. 

 

Key responsibilities include:
Servicing current accounts, maintaining contact with group management and interacting directly with customers
Retaining membership by addressing and resolving account complaints
Analyzing account trends, and documenting and reporting results
Taking responsibility for installation of all new groups, including completing contracts, training employees and documenting benefits plans
Giving presentations to management and employees
Interfacing with state departments, preserving a positive working relationship
Coordinating operations and problem resolution with various internal divisions



Outward-facing account management and/or customer service experience is required, as is healthcare or health insurance experience.  A background in mental/behavioral health, clinical care, account management, account retention and/or project management is preferred.  Knowledge of state insurance programs is a plus.  General computer proficiency and significant aptitude with MS Office are necessary.  If you match this description, and you thrive in an independent role with a variety of tasks, we urge you to apply for this position with solid growth potential.
