Account Services Director

Description:
Under minimal supervision works with commercial lines property/casualty insurance customers, prospects, producers, consultants, and internal service departments to plan, develop, implement and manage service plans/initiatives to support the profitable growth of business for the assigned territory. Manages the service installation process for new and existing customers, directs and/or coordinates activities provided by the servicing departments as appropriate. Serves as the primary service contact for customers, producers, and consultants while building/maintaining effective relationships. This is the intermediate level in the job family.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent business background plus a minimum of 5 to 7 years relevant property and casualty experience required to serve as the primary service contact for appx. 20-30 accounts with up to $25M in premium. Claims experience strongly preferred but not mandatory. In-depth knowledge of industry services, products, account management techniques, and customer service with ability to handle accounts with more complex needs with minimal direction. Demonstrated ability to express ideas clearly and concisely (both orally and in written form). Fully effective organizational skills and interpersonal skills needed to set priorities and manage time to maximize customer contact, be responsive to customers and reach retention goals.
