Due to growth, our branch office located in the Centennial Lakes Office Park in Edina, Minnesota has an opportunity for an experienced Accounting and Claims Examiner.

Responsibilities include:
o Analyzying complex insurance and reinsurance financial transactions
o Processing accounting and claim reports generated by clients and reinsurers.
o Processing billings and collecting funds to be disbursed to clients
o Exercising authority in dealing with clients, markets and brokers in completing day to day duties.
o Problem solving with clients and brokers on contract related issues
o Securing Letters of Credit (LOC)
o Maintaining/updating files and systems
o Generating ad hoc reports.
o May be asked to attend audits with or without Supervisor
o Assisting with other projects or assignments as needed.

oThe ability to interact professionally with colleagues, client and reinsurers
oStrong communication skills (verbal and written) for interacting with clients, reinsurers and brokers.
oStrong computer skills including experience with applications such as MS Excel for use in importing and exporting data to prepare statements, accounts, reports and other detailed exhibits.
oA bachelors degree along with 3-5 years industry (insurance / reinsurance) experience.
