Actuarial Analyst Trainee

<B>Key job family responsibilities:
<P>Analyzes actuarial ratemaking data<BR>Prepares rate proposals for management<BR>Prepares responses to various requests for actuarial information<BR>Implements rates to satisfy the financial objectives of the enterprise<BR>Prepares for and participates in marketing conferences<BR>Prepares filings for regulatory authorities
<P>Trainee Responsibilities:
<P>Successful completion of the initial Actuarial Training Program<BR>With guidance, prepares standard actuarial analyses<BR>Learns ratemaking methodologies<BR>Transitions to specific state assignment responsibilities<BR>Gains a working knowledge of workstatinn tools related to actuarial analysis<BR>Meets expectations for CAS exam progress<BR>Prepares special reports, exhibits, or analyses<BR>May participate in intradepartmental committees<BR>May orally present actuarial informtion to other areas of the company
<P>Comments:
<P>Degree in Actuarial Science, Math or related field<BR>Successful completion of at least one actuarial exam<BR>Strong academic background in basic, intermediate, and advanced mathematics<BR>Ability and desire to continue to pass a series of examiniations leading toward professional recognition as a qualified actuary<BR>Ability to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing
<P>We are interested in recent college graduates and those with 0 - 5 years experience.
<P>Critical technical skills:
<P>Math skills<BR>EXCEL required<BR>ACCESS and SAS desired
