Annuity Product Manager

Major Duties and Functions Include:
Support MetLife Individual Annuity Product Management by assisting in or independently managing all product development. Portfolio of initiatives includes launch or upgrade of new variable annuity products and maintenance of existing products.
Work with Actuarial Product designers to create detailed product specifications.
With Operations and IT, identify scope and requirements of projects.
Coordinate Operations, IT, Wholesaling, Legal, Compliance, Financial Marketing and Sales partners to drive product implementation.
Establish Product Implementation Plans and 'Scorecards' with key project milestones, priorities, timelines and resources.
Coordinate activities of partners and team leads to implement projects on time and on budget.
Work with partners of appropriate disciplines to overcome obstacles with actionable solutions.
As a subject matter expert, provide product information to Marketing, Wholesalers, Training and Communications partners on an ongoing basis. What You Need to Succeed:


Solid knowledge of variable and other annuity products.
Very strong project management skills
Ability to guide multiple projects with overlapping deliverables and milestones.
Proven skills as both a leader and partner in a team environment - often working with partners from afar.
Ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic production environment with deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written comunication and interpersonal skills.
Comfortable with Microsoft Excel, Word, Project and PowerPoint
