Associate Agent

Job Purpose:

Build business within identified markets, targeting commercial and auto customers.

 

Duties:

  * Develop prospects through an organized agency direct solicitation program, identify business opportunities using contacts and databases and establish affiliations through community affairs, affiliations and other contacts.

 

  * Develop all information and recommendations for prospective accounts, present proposals and adhere to agency policies and procedures for writing a new product.

 

  * Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; research and recommend new opportunities.

 

  * Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.

 

  * Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing Nationwide Insurance standards.

 

Requirements:

 

* Candidates should currently hold required state licenses.  Experience in selling and servicing insurance and investment products is a plus.
