Associate Claims Adjuster
USAA is currently seeking a talented Associate Claims Adjuster for our Sacramento, CA location.
As an Associate Claims Adjuster for USAA, you will investigate and adjust complex property claims for and against our clients to ensure claim validity, legal liability and settlement value. You will evaluate and negotiate settlement claims within established limits. You will provide training and coaching to other staff members. You will know our members, understand their individual needs and provide appropriate solutions.
Qualified candidates need to possess:
High school diploma and 1 year of relevant property and casualty claims adjusting experience or 2 years of relevant USAA policy service experience OR a Bachelor's degree.
Computer literacy in a Windows operating environment.
Availability to travel for training and/or work catastrophe duty when needed.
Preferred experience includes:
Strong verbal and written skills.
Ability to analyze issues and make decisions.
Customer service.
