Associate Policy and Processing Representative
Job Description: The Hanover Insurance Group is seeking an Associate Policy and Processing Representative; it is located in the Oden Cancellation/Non-renewal Unit.
The person in this role performs multiple tasks, including answering customer inquiries, processing policy changes and issuing cancellation and non-renewal notices, while achieving measures at or above stated goals.
Process notices and policy transactions received for multiple lines of business within specified guidelines.
Answer follow-up and problem resolution inquires from Underwriting and others.
Requirements
Working knowledge of computer technology and software.
Proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, Email, Calendaring, Internet use and Keyboarding efficiency and accuracy.
Strong Customer Service Skills and a proven track record in service; timely quality-conscious follow through on customer inquiries and concerns.
Analytical thinking and a thorough approach to problem solving a must. Having flexibility to continuous growth, learning and improvement is a must and also strong verbal and written communication skills. Being a team player is an essential for this position.
Property and Casualty Insurance Industry knowledge is a plus but not necessary.
Associate Degree
3-5 years of experience.
