Position can either be located in Egan, MN., Plymouth Meeting, PA., or virtual would be negotiable.
General Responsibilities:
Product Spec Sheet & Product Taxonomy Creation & Maintenance
Management of buy-up options and other products as assigned by PM for EAP & WL product house
Special projects for the EAP & WL product house
Product House maintenance
Sales and Account Services Team Support (e.g. answer questions, provide tools and training, etc.)
Proposal language development and maintenance
Function:
Gathers data for input into Product Management documents, and is able to synthesize data into reports for higher level product manager(s).
Must be able to present strategy plans in a strong fashion.
Responsible for completing assignments that are provided by Product Manager and VP of Product Management.
Support Product Management team functions across LifeWorks; interfacing with internal/external solutions.
Responsible for the delivery and tracking of some portions of a product release/project plan.
Does not have signature authority for contracts or spending items, but synthesize issues and gather data related to contract or expenses and provide to Product Manager and VP of Product Management.
Manages assigned solution/products through all phases of the lifecycle.
This includes decision-making related to: product performance/profitability/pricing,branding, positioning, and new product features.
Detailed Responsibility:
Participates in the review process of the new idea submissions, test plan and use cases.
Participates in and may be required to lead Product Launches.
May record and track progress of deliverables according to launch plan.
Understands which tasks are critical and escalates accordingly.
Project manage launces or enhancements.
Responsible for revenue targeted for product responsibility.
Prepare product plans and lifecycles for new services, existing products and/or alliance partnerships.
Drive contract requirements and statement of work, then gain agreement on milestones from all stakeholders (including, but not limited to: legal, training, marketing services, advertising and sales support, market development, billing, reporting requirements and metrics, information technology, employee communication, quality, customer support/service delivery, and sales).
Define product scope and competitive assessments, core product requirements, features and benefits, and deliverables.
Forecast volume, pricing strategy and revenue and write related business cases. Develop and coordinate delivery of all aspects of new product's introduction and communication.
Work with Marketing Communications Advertising/Sales Support on external strategy for product launch and development of sales tools.
Ensure organizational readiness through appropriate product communication.
Interface with clients and prospects, as requested, to define depth of product features. Maintain current portfolio of products and support all aspects of ongoing sales and delivery of product.
Monitor customer satisfaction reports and communicate issues with key service delivery staff.
Evaluate Ceridian's need/benefit related to trade show participation and determine appropriate visibility of the product(s).
Work with Market Development to develop ROI tools and other key performance indicators.
Provide on-going support and technical assistance for sales and account management. Review and input for request for proposals (RFPs).
Financial Responsibility:
Manage to financial constraints and opportunities as set within cash flow analysis.
Product Line Responsibility:
Supports EAP & WL Product Manager and EAP & WL Products.
Education:
Bachelor of Science or equivalent degree.
Experience:
3-5 years experience in Product Management AND EAP or Work Life experience. Must be familiar with Product Management & Development processes, process development, Quality program, operational flow, data models and design processes.
Competencies:
Can answer 50% of common product functionality and process questions regarding who/what service and implementation processes.
Should be able to relate features with competitor offerings and understand why processes are designed in current manner.
Communicates successfully through press releases, articles, and (client) employee communications.
Analytical and problem-solving ability.
Good written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills.
Ability to work effectively with staff in all levels of the organization.
Proven project management skills.
