In this position, you'll have the opportunity to service Fortune 500 companies. You'll gain exposure to a variety of industries including transportation, retail, energy, manufacturing, and construction. You'll partner with Liberty Mutual experts and work with our client's top executives.
Through our extensive training program and on-the-job experiences, you'll learn the business for one or more lines of our business or market segments from the best professionals around. You'll learn to underwrite commercial lines insurance business, such as workers' compensation, general liability, property, and/or automobile, and to evaluate existing and new accounts through financial statements and operations analysis, make underwriting recommendations, and build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external industry professionals.
Throughout your career, we'll provide you with the resources necessary to acquire the underwriting techniques that have propelled Liberty Mutual to the top of the industry.
Qualifications:
To be successful as a member of our exceptional National Market Underwriting team, you must possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, and a GPA of at least 3.0. You must have excellent analytical, interpersonal, written and verbal skills, strong persuasion, financial, and mathematical skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a group.
