The Hanover Insurance Group is seeking an experienced Auto Adjuster for our Worcester, MA office.

Responsibilities:
Front line service provider for Hanover customer claim needs, working in a team-based environment. Independently secures required information, analyzes, evaluates and takes actions necessary to settle or advance claim matters to resolution.

Handles all auto physical damage and complex personal property claims in accordance with policy conditions, best practices and jurisdictional requirements. Responsible for the initial input of claim data and guiding insureds and claimants through claim process and options.

Requirements:
Candidate must have strong organizational, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. Detailed investigation and evaluation ability, decisive, medical and disability management along with the ability to utilize good judgment.
Strong customer service skills.
Excellent verbal/written communication skills are a must.
Ability to handle high volume of phone interaction, in a fast paced environment, with customers initiating claims as well as confirmation and application of policy coverages.
Proficiency in the utilization of computer-based documentation of loss information/facts to determine case severity. Evaluate liability, damages, reserves and subrogation potential. Via phone, investigate facts of loss to determine proper level of expertise needed to effectively resolve and refer if appropriate and utilize field resources properly.
Bachelors Degree preferred with 1-3 years of experience.
