Bilingual Claims Service Center Supervisor

Description: Supervises representatives and support staff within the Claims unit. Trains, monitors, and directs subordinates in all areas of claims 1st reporting handling. Reviews and assesses performance and ensures work is completed in an accurate and timely manner. Responsible for maintaining full coverage during call volume peak to ensure customer satisfaction. Works a rotating schedule which includes days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Bachelor's degree or equivalent training required, plus 2-3 years of directly related insurance experience and 3 years of prior supervisory experience. In-depth knowledge and working interpretation of all coverages and contracts impacting department is essential. Must have solid working knowledge of all functions of the Customer Service Representative Claims positions as well as a strong knowledge of various operations within the Claims department. Must be bilingual in Spanish.

Qualifications:
Will run a nine person independent call center.
Call center opens Monday- Friday at 8:00 a.m. and closes at 6:15 p.m.
