Business expansion has revealed our need for a new Biostatistician to join our Irvine, CA office. This is a growing field within the healthcare industry, and the job is a great opportunity at a Fortune 100 Company. There is a lot of training and the department will invest in the Biostatistician’s career growth. The hired individual will primarily be responsible for drawing information from data warehouses, and then creating reports based on it.


 


Key responsibilities include:



Extracting, manipulating and analyzing data using pre-made tools


Following a schedule to accurately meet reporting deadlines


Performing some statistical coding and programming


Providing data to numerous departments

Supporting higher level statisticians



A statistics background is necessary for this position, as is experience with SAS. MS Office skills are also required, and we are looking for detail-oriented and responsible team players. Experience working with claims-based data warehouses and/or healthcare statistics is preferred, and transactional statistics experience is a plus. If you meet these criteria, and you are able to effectively meet deadlines, you would be a great candidate for this promising position.
