Broker/Sales and Risk Management

Position HRH is currently recruiting for a Broker/Sales and Risk Management position to help lead our expansion initiatives in Illinois.

 

Primary Function:

HRH A&E, the leading national specialist in providing insurance and risk management solutions to Architects and Engineers, is seeking an experienced sales professional to help lead our expansion initiatives in Illinois. This is an exciting opportunity to join a recognized leader in a highly specialized area of insurance sales and risk management.  HRH A&E is a division of Hilb Rogal & Hobbs (NYSE:HRH), the 10th largest insurance intermediary in the world with over 100 locations across the U.S.

 

Responsibilities:
Assist in the development and maintenance of effective client relationships specific to Architects and Engineers insurance and risk management. 
Produce new business revenue by calling on prospective design firm clients. 
Assist in developing and implementing marketing and branding initiatives.

 Qualifications:
Working knowledge of professional liability products, markets, and underwriting protocols including financial statement analysis helpful.
Strong presentation and negotiating skills along with the ability to have some fun with the process also required.
College degree and insurance related training courses a plus.
Ambitious, results-oriented professional with strong communication and presentation skills a must.
Self starter
Some statewide travel required.

 Experience:
Prior consulting firm, brokerage firm, or major insurance company background preferred.
