Business Analyst

Summary:

Due to continued growth, this innovative software company is seeking Business Analysts to perform business research and analysis of client issues while contributing to outstanding levels of customer satisfaction. You will have an opportunity to impact a suite of products designed to meet the business needs of an industry that processes billions of dollars of direct written premium annually. You will work with leading-edge technology that is augmented by a full menu of services, including implementation, technical, bureau and client services. AQS offers all this in a fun, casual work environment in the ever-changing and challenging insurance industry.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
? Consults with external and/or internal clients and stakeholders to gather, analyze and document business requirements.
? Documents business and functional specifications.
? Designs solutions with the input of internal developers and support staff.
? Assists with the development of test plans and execution of testing for quality assurance.
? Facilitates end user acceptance testing and delivery of high-quality solutions.
? Provides assistance evaluating and correcting critical production issues.
? Monitors and acts on post-implementation issues and change requests.
? May provide input for work estimates.

 

Experience and Characteristics:
The successful candidate will have:
? Bachelor?s degree or equivalent experience
? 2 or more years of experience in the commercial property and casualty insurance industry, including work with automated rating systems
? Strong oral and written communication skills
? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including strong attention to detail
? ?Right Attitude? internally and with clients
? Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
? Ability to travel (nominal)
