WORKER?S COMPENSATION CLAIMS SPECIALIST

 

IPS is searching for the right candidate to fill this Worker?s Compensation Claims Specialist opportunity in Salinas, Ca. You will handle claims of moderate technical complexity from initiation to settlement.  Two years of insurance claims experience is required.  This position is in a dynamic, high growth insurance brokerage that is dedicated to client satisfaction and offers their employees excellent benefits.

RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist in the investigation of work injury claims and accident reportsReport and coordinate claim activity to the insurance companyAssist employee?s, supervisor?s and claims personnel with benefit information and proactively manage claimsResolve client problems, develop solutions in a professional, ethical mannerWork with a sense of urgency to meet deadlinesAssist with the management of OSHA logs, claim diary system, departmental filing and record keeping

 

QUALIFICATIONS:Excellent communication skills, ability to speak and listen clearlyAbility to write informatively3 years of insurance experience, two years in worker?s compensationFamiliarity with insurance agency computer systems and word processingCalifornia Property & Casualty license
