Claims Manager- Homeowner Insurance

Description:
Responsible for managing the Homeowner Claims Department. Ensures complete and sound claim settlements, legal reviews, and investigations when necessary. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Manages the claims staff and reports to senior management.

As the Property Claims Manager you will manage 3-5 claims staff that handles a wide range of property and liability claims. Excellent working knowledge of ISO forms required. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of claims management experience. Must be bi-lingual (English/Spanish). Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and exceptional organizational abilities. Employee development at all levels of claim employees. Develop and interpret company reports that track the department's progress relating to claim volume, closing ratios, loss ratios, staffing needs, and various training issues.
