Claim Specialist

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience and possess the AIC designation, Property & Inland Marine claims experience, construction knowledge, as well as strong investigative and negotiating skills.

Conducts thorough investigations of Property & Inland Marine claims including coverage analysis, damage valuation, liability, subrogation and disposition. Will be responsible for the management of expenses including vendors, independent appraisers, attorneys and experts.
Supports the goals and mission of GAI and the Property & Inland Marine division through dealings with all customers including insureds, claimants, vendors, agents, underwriters and others.

Required Skills:
Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree and/or 5-10 years of commercial property claims experience. Inland Marine experience is preferred. Continued professional development is required. AIC must be attained, if not already completed. Claim Rep licenses must be acquired and maintained as necessary.
