We are currently seeking a Claims Adjuster Trainee to work in the Memphis, TN area. Working within company guidelines, the Claims Adjuster Trainee will learn to perform the duties necessary to efficiently and effectively research and settle claims.  Training varies from learning to determine coverage to obtaining estimates and settling claims. A successful candidate will have the mathematical skills to perform the calculations, along with the decision-making skills needed to formulate a settlement. Every day brings an opportunity to move Direct forward.

 

Required Skills/Experience:

Bachelor?s degree

Previous insurance or claims experience a plus

Ability to operate PC and software applications

Ability to perform mathematical applications

Analytical and decision-making skills

Two week company paid training class in Memphis
