Claims Analyst (JP-976)

Major Responsibilities:
* Monitor and manage suspense items to ensure they are cleared in accordance with established procedures and processes.  Be accountable for clearing suspense items related to assigned companies.
* Process client claims in accordance with established procedures and processes in accordance with applicable client treaties.
* Reconcile information to operating systems
* Demonstrate awareness of TARe's customers by developing and maintaining contact relationships - maintain a high commitment to quality client servicing
* Work cooperatively and collaboratively with a team of analysts to ensure processing is completed accurately and in accordance with established timelines.
* Demonstrate proficiency in all operating systems
* Participate fully in operations and organizational training classes to increase process and industry knowledge.
* Analyze and communicate to appropriate parties timely
* Create & follow-through on Development Plan, resulting in enhanced ability to process the business and serve the customer.
* Other duties as required for the position

 

Minimum Requirements:
* Demonstrated knowledge of accounting principles, updating ledger accounts, reconciliation's and accounts payable and receivable processes
* Strong analytical skills
* Knowledge of general premium and claims principles
* Ability to partner with clients and ensure their needs are met
* Strong oral & written communication skills
* Ability to identify and resolve issues
* Strong results orientation & organizational, follow-up, and follow-through skills
* Proficient PC spreadsheet skills in a Windows environment, including Word, Excel & Access
* Available to work overtime as needed
