Claims Associate-Recovery

Lincoln General Insurance Company is one of the fastest growing Property and Casualty Insurance companies in North America. We are looking for a Claims Associate-Recovery to join our team in the York, PA area.

This position will support the Claims function in its efforts to achieve profitable results and maintain good customer relations. Specific responsibilities include: recovery of liability deductible to maintain loss ratio accuracy based upon written and paid premium; verify accuracy of deductible recovery records/spreadsheets; maintain assigned portfolio of accounts/programs to be consistent with delinquency cycle objectives; reconcile assigned accounts for recovery of liability deductibles; contact customers for payment of liability deductibles and maintain an accurate accounting of collection activities for assigned accounts; conduct daily audits of liability claims paid loss to ensure accurate accounting of outstanding liability deductibles.

The incumbent for this position is required to continuously learn. In addition, the following knowledge, skills and abilities are required: High School diploma or equivalent; evidence of commitment to self-development through successful completion of collegiate, insurance or general business educational courses; 1-3 years insurance industry experience at the company or agency level - preferably in the Claims area; background in collections or equivalent business experience also preferred; candidates must have the ability to handle multiple tasks; flexibility in handling work assignments; good communication skills; experience with computers; initiative to work into technician position; positive work ethic/attitude; proficiency in Excel and Word and team orientation.
