Claims Examiner
Growing Reston, VA based claims management company seeks two Claims Examiners, one with minimum of 10 years? experience handling 1st party Property & Casualty claims, and one with 2-3 years? experience handling 1st or 3rd party Property & Casualty Claims. Working knowledge of industry coverage forms required; commercial lines property claim adjusting experience beneficial. Bachelor?s Degree and/or insurance designations preferred. Must be a self-starter, detail oriented, proficient in Excel and Word, have excellent interpersonal and time management skills and be able to work to strict deadlines. Initial responsibilities include overseeing commercial and personal lines insurance claims within settlement authority guidelines, liaison with US-based wholesale insurance agents, attorneys and independent adjusters, and coordination with UK-based claims consultant.
