Claims Manager

Job Description: OVERVIEW: Aon is a global leader in risk management, insurance and reinsurance brokerage, human capital and management consulting, and outsourcing with more than 55,000 employees in 600 offices. Minimum education required: Bachelor's Degree

Minimum work experience required: 5-10 years of claims experience

Special skills required: The person needs to have good verbal and written communication skills,
ability to self-start, negotiate claims and provide sales support.

Description of duties & responsibilities:
1. Conduct claims reviews for all lines of coverage including Workers Compensation, GL, Property and Auto.

2. Conduct training for clients and internal staff as it relates to claims topics.

3. Develop claims standards and expectations.

4. Conduct claims audits.

5. Manage the Claims Function.

6. Produce articles on current Claim Topics.

7. Coordinate quarterly safety meetings in each region.

8. Assist Clients in choosing TPA's.

9. Assist clients in developing claims handling procedures.
