Claims Rep III

Essential Job Function: Evaluates claims data, investigates facts, verifies coverage and determines liability where issues are of a complex nature.

Responsibilities:
-Analyzes a client's issues and communicates proposed solutions.
-Addresses recovery potential.
-Documents and reports files in accordance with all relevant standards.
-Works closely with clients, customers and vendors on all related issues.
-Administers statements for all pertinent parties of a loss.
-May document damages at a loss site by taking quality photographs.
-May assist the insured and/or claimant with securing emergency services when necessary.
-May assist by documenting damages associated with other inside claims personnel losses.
-May have re-inspection duties of approved vendors to ensure work quality and appropriate pricing.
-Represents the Claim Department at various functions, such as Mandatory Settlement Conferences, Voluntary Settlement Conferences, Arbitration and Small Claims Court.

Requirements:
-5 years of experience adjusting claims.
-Excellent communication, customer service, problem-solving and organizational skills.
-PC proficiency (including Word).

Preferred Skills/Experience:
-Excel and PowerPoint skills.
-The ability to multi-task.
