Claims Supervisor - (R6418)

Currently, we have an excellent opportunity available for a Claims Supervisor to join our rapidly growing company. This position is located in our Pasadena, CA office and the job code is R6418.

Primary responsibilities for this position include:
* Supervision of 6-7 adjusters and 2 claim assistants
* Direct and monitor case management of subordinates by ensuring all applicable laws and procedures are adhered to
* Perform internal audits of claims files monthly to ensure Best Practice Procedures are being used
* Authorize and process reserve changes, payments, settlement requests and new claim set ups
* Represents Company and client's interest at all times
* Participate in field customer service and client relations
* Assist with training and development of staff
* Maintains statistical and production reports
* Completion of performance evaluations

Qualified Candidates Will Have:
* High School Diploma, some college a plus
* IEA Certification
* Self Insured Certificate a plus
* Minimum of 5 years WC experience
* Prior Supervisor experience
* Must have strong W/C technical skills
* Good communication and organizational skills
* Customer service and people skills
* Should be able to work independently
* Must have good time management skills and able to recognize a priority situation and take action
* Should be familiar with municipality clients
